What the heck is a peak demand program? Simply put, it's a meter-based pay-for-performance program that pays for actual results at the meter. Payment for energy savings is highest during the peak demand summer hours of 4:00 - 9:00 pm..
The pay-for-performance incentive paid out for actual energy savings is significant. TEAA can assist businesses located anywhere within PG&E service territory with participating in this exciting program. Please contact TEAA and we will reach out to explain the process.
TEAA is pleased to be working with Willdan as a subcontractor providing services to their Municipal and K-12 schools program under their contract with PG&E.
This program is providing a variety of energy efficiency measures and services, most notably replacement of outdated water heaters with electric Heat Pump Water Heaters. Incentives are available to municipal customers and are very competitive -- many water heater replacements are covered up to 100% of cost.
